Abdulia Vamboi, Abdulia Kamara and Lansana made another appearance before Magistrate Sahr Keikura of pademba road court No.1 in Freetown on two count charges to wit Burglary and Larceny contrary to section 25(1) and 13 (a) of the Larceny Act of 1916 and receiving stolen goods, contrary to section 33(1) of the larceny Act 1916.
It was alleged in the charge sheet on count one that the first accused person Abdulia Vamboi on the 6th January 2021 at No. 211d Kingstella Street, the western area in Freetown with intent to steal, did break and entered into the dwelling house of Daniel Parkinson Boima and stole therein one HP envy computer laptop valued one thousand united state dollars ($100) equivalent to ten million Leones (10,000,000), one 4G modem valued eight hundred thousand Leones (800,000) one famtom 8 tecno mobile phone valued two million eight hundred thousand Leones (2,800,000) one alas wrist watch valued one million eight hundred thousand Leones (1,800,000) one computer backup device valued four hundred thousand Leones.
On count two it was alleged that the first and second accused person Abdulia Kamara and Lansana Kamara on the same date at Banana Water, Murray Town the western area in Freetown did receive one Phantom 8 Tecno mobile phone valued two million eight hundred thousand Leones(2,800,000) knowing the same to have been stolen property of Daniel Parkinson Boima.
Magistrate Keikura granted bail to the second and third accused persons in the sum of ten million Leones each or one surety each in like sum.the sureties must be resident in the western area and should produce any form of identification bearing their addresses in Freetown to be approved by the Deputy Acting Registrar (DAR).
Sergeant 9155 Dwight Marcathy is prosecuting the matter.
Magistrate Sahr Kekura adjourned the matter to the 16th June 2021.
